A Saitama-based Self Defense Force human resources manager was arrested on charges of public indecency December 28 after he reportedly brought his own “mystery meat” to a McDonalds drive-thru in Kawagoe.

According to reports, the 46-year-old man made an early morning stop at the fast food restaurant, pulling up to the window with the zipper of his khaki pants undone and his member sticking out. The 39-year-old female cashier attending to the man phoned police, then kept him at the window by saying his food was taking longer than usual to prepare. She was able to keep the flasher waiting for nearly 10 minutes, and the police arrived in time to catch him in the act.

The non-commissioned officer was reportedly off duty at the time, and told police that he committed the crime because he wanted to see the woman’s reaction. The SDF has issued an apology for the incident.
