Police have uncovered a group of seven child pornographers who are believed to have taken pornographic shots of young elementary school girls, and are currently in the final stages of sending evidence to prosecutors. During their investigation, authorities reportedly collected around 33 million images in relation to the men–the majority of which are child pornography.

More than half the men arrested were found to have accessed websites for child pornography enthusiasts and traded information from their mobile phones. Three of the men have already been given a guilty verdict. One of the men, a 44-year-old salaryman from Kobe, is accused of having, on two separate occasions, molested a six and a seven year-old girl in 2009, taking nude photos of them with his mobile phone. Another man is being accused of giving someone an external hard drive full of child pornography in August of last year.
