An American man has gone to trial after being accused of molesting 15 girls at the English conversation school he managed in Fukuoka. Alan Neil Lamph, 70, was arrested under rape, anti-child prostitution and pornography laws after it was discovered he took girls into his home between 2003 and 2009. He is suspected of violently molesting two girls, aged 11 and 12, and filming a group of 13 nine-year-old girls in the nude and performing sexual acts.

The prosecution are demanding 20 years for the offenses, saying that Lamph committed a “cowardly and heinous crime to satisfy his own desires,” and that he should be punished to the full extent of the law. They say the crimes were premeditated and he used his position as a teacher inappropriately, taking advantage of underage children. The defense says that the acts were borne from his roll as teacher, that he had consent and that there is insufficient evidence for some of the accusations.

  1. Cool.
Now why are the teachers in Yamaguchi pref just getting fired? I know of a P.E. teacher nearby who was caught because he and his 14 year old student took pictures together at a love hotel. He now lives across the street from another school with his mother but he never did anytime ??

I hope this old man gets legally reamed and I wish they would spread some justice around here. This prefecture is notoriously stubborn to anything even when it makes sense.
