"Mister Vice Guy" (if you can guess who that is) interviewed in Australian Penthouse

In one of his classiest interviews yet, Jake lets loose in Australian Penthouse magazine to inquiries on regrets, working as a hostess, sumo, and just how hard it was to get those guys to review Yakuza 3.

  1. Not sure if Jake will read this but here goes;

    I’m an 18 year old male finishing my last year of school in Australia, who heard your interview on Triple J radio a week or so ago. Having been studying Japanese at school for the past 6 years, I was immediately enticed by your book and rushed out (or made my mum rush out) to buy it.

    I just put it down then. Throughout the whole book, I had to keep reminding myself that the book was based on (or is?) a true story.
    Your story was truly inspiring. You have lived an amazing life, of that there is no doubt.

    Wish you the best.

    1. Well, I hope it inspired you not to do the same stupid things I did in the last seventeen years. 🙂 By the way, I really enjoyed the interview at Triple J Radio and being there. I spent part of my adolescence doing radio at a community radio station like that and it was a great experience. It taught me a lot about tolerance, negotiation, and responsibility. Thanks for reading the book and I wish you well.
